Today I am giving you a stretch slash exercise to assist you with a tight, painful neck. And it’s very simple, all you really need to do is you’re going to have a towel like this. It can be a hand towel or longer. You’re going to scoop it up underneath the base of your skull, and you’re going to pull on the sore side of your neck.
So if this side is sore, I’m going to be pulling upwards and turning and the towel just assists in turning the neck. Now, once that starts to feel good, you can take that to the next level.
And now you’re going to cross your hands over with the same towel, scoop it under the neck, and you’re just going to pull up and across to get a little bit more range of motion.
These exercises are going to be very helpful for you. Give them a try. For more exercises, our webpage www.cameronchiro.com has lots of videos just like this.
