Ballet and Lower Back Pain
I’ve had lower back pain in the past, and I want to share today one stretch that helped me fix it.
It’s kinda funny how it looks but bear with me I promise it works.
My name is Dr. Cameron from Cameron Family Chiropractic, and today’s stretch is called the Ballerina stretch which is great for relieving lower back pain.
If the pain is on the right side of your lower back, then cross your right leg in front of your left leg.
Take that left hand and put it onto your left hip.
Gently push the hip until you get a light stretch on the right side of your lower back.
Go ahead and reach that right hand over the head.
Hold this for 20 to 30 seconds.
Repeat this on the other side.
Do this stretch three to four times on each side.
Now, after a week, if it’s not providing you with a complete sense of relief, then go ahead and get us on the phone.
