Simple Stretch For Back Pain

Simple Stretch For Back Pain

Aches and Pains

Many people have had constant aches and pains that never seem to go away. For those people, I have a stretch for that back pain!

I’m Dr. Chris from Cameron Family Chiropractic. Today I’m going to show you a stretch called the child pose.

Child Pose

You’re going to start with being on your hands and knees on a mat. You’re going to reach your hands out in front of you as far as you can, and you’re going to kind of grip your fingers on the mat so they’re sticking to the mat. From this point here, you’re going to lean back until your rear end comes back and is flat onto your heels, and your head is in between your elbows. This is called the child’s pose.

You’re going to hold this for about five to ten seconds for each rep. If you do that at about 10 reps at a time several times a day you should notice some improvement.

However, if that’s not enough for your pain then call my office today and schedule an appointment.

I’d be more than happy to try and help.
